Print China 2027 strengthens European ties with successful Central and Eastern Europe outreach
Promotion campaign across Germany and Poland reinforces international partnerships, buyer recruitment and global industry collaboration ahead of Print China 2027
The organizers of Print China 2027 have strengthened the exhibition's international engagement through a series of promotional activities and industry meetings in Germany and Poland, reinforcing relationships with leading manufacturers, trade associations, universities and prospective buyers across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
Led by Yang Bin, Vice President of the Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China (PEIAC), the delegation visited Europe from 9 to 13 May 2026 as part of the exhibition's global promotion program.
The tour began with participation at Interpack 2026 in Germany, where the delegation met with several leading international exhibitors, including Heidelberg, Fujifilm and Domino, to discuss industry developments and encourage participation in Print China 2027. During the visit, the organizers also held meetings with representatives of the Polish Chamber of Printing and Swissmem, the Swiss association representing the country's technology industries, to explore cooperation in visitor promotion and international industry collaboration.
According to the organizers, both industry associations and participating companies expressed their support for Print China 2027 and their willingness to strengthen cooperation in the lead-up to the exhibition.
A major highlight of the European program was the Print China 2027 European Press Conference, held on 12 May at the Warsaw University of Technology in Poland alongside the Global Print Alliance Summit. The event marked the formal launch of the exhibition's focused engagement strategy for the Central and Eastern European market and initiated a targeted campaign to attract professional international buyers to the 2027 exhibition.
During the visit, the Chinese delegation also met with researchers and academic leaders at the DEDTIM/CEZAMAT Advanced Materials and Technology Centre of the Warsaw University of Technology and the Faculty of Journalism, Information and Book Studies at the University of Warsaw. The discussions explored opportunities for closer cooperation in printing technology, research, education and international knowledge exchange, while supporting the global expansion of Chinese printing enterprises.
The organizers view Central and Eastern Europe as an increasingly important region for the global printing industry. While Western Europe has long been recognized as a center for printing technology and manufacturing, many CEE countries are experiencing rapid growth in commercial printing, packaging, labels and industrial print, creating new opportunities for technology suppliers and equipment manufacturers.
By holding a major promotional event in Poland, Print China has expanded its presence in a region that has previously received relatively limited attention within its international marketing activities. The organizers believe that a more focused approach to buyer recruitment will attract higher-quality professional visitors, strengthen the exhibition's international profile and create additional business opportunities for exhibitors.
The European outreach program also supports Print China's broader objective of strengthening collaboration between the Chinese and European printing industries. By working closely with industry associations, technology companies, universities and research institutions, the exhibition aims to create a platform that encourages technology exchange, business cooperation and international market development.
According to the organizers, several organizations and industry groups have already expressed interest in organizing buyer delegations to visit Print China 2027, further expanding the exhibition's pool of international visitors.
Building on the momentum generated during the Central and Eastern Europe tour, Print China 2027 plans to continue expanding its global partnership network and international promotion activities over the coming months. These initiatives are expected to further strengthen the exhibition's position as one of the world's leading events for the printing and packaging industries while bringing together exhibitors and visitors from across the global print community when the exhibition opens in Dongguan in 2027.
