Strengthening China-EU Innovation Cooperation to Drive the Transformation of the Printing Industry —— Delegation from the Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China Holds High-level Exchange Meetings with Warsaw University of Technology and the University of Warsaw in Poland
On May 12, an industrial and enterprise delegation led by Bin YANG, Vice Chairman of the Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China (PEIAC), traveled to Warsaw, Poland – The delegation visited CEZAMAT-Centre for Advanced Materials and Technologies at Warsaw University of Technology (DEDTIM/CEZAMAT), a top European polytechnic institution, and held in-depth exchanges with Professor Małgorzata Jakubowska, Head of the Department of Printed Electronics, Electronic Textiles and Equipment.

He also introduced the core role of PEIAC in fostering international industry exchange, promoting collaboration among industry, academia and research institutions, and facilitating the commercialisation of research outcomes. He expressed China’s strong commitment to strengthening long-term mutually beneficial cooperation with leading European research institutions and exploring new frontiers for innovation and industrial development together. Subsequently, the Polish side gave a detailed introduction to the scientific research strength and disciplinary advantages of Warsaw University of Technology. As a leading European science and engineering institution, it boasts solid academic foundations, first-class research platforms and world-leading R&D capabilities in frontier fields including printed electronics, smart electronic textiles, advanced nano-functional materials, eco-friendly lead-free electronic packaging and flexible intelligent manufacturing. Its research focuses are highly aligned with the core development trend of the global printing industry toward intelligent, functional and eco-friendly cross-industry upgrading During subsequent discussions, the Chinese and Polish sides conducted all-round, in-depth and targeted consultations covering key areas such as integrated R&D of printed electronics, innovation of green and low-carbon printing technologies, joint training of high-calibre industrial talents, mutual recognition of China-EU industrial standards, incubation and implementation of industry-university-research projects, as well as linkage of international exhibitions and industrial resources. Both sides openly shared development experience, accurately matched supply and demand resources and conducted in-depth discussions on potential cooperation In closing, Vice Chairman Bin YANG and his entourage paid a visit to the laboratories of Warsaw University of Technology. ▲Visit to Laboratories of Warsaw University of Technology On May 13, the industrial and enterprise delegation headed by Vice Chairman Bin YANG of PEIAC visited the Faculty of Journalism, Information and Book Studies, University of Warsaw, Poland, and held exchanges with Dean Prof. Dariusz Kuzmina. Founded in 2016 through the merger of the former Institute of Journalism and the Institute of Scientific Information and Library Science, the faculty is a top-tier teaching and research institution in Poland in the fields of media, informatics and library science. Going forward, PEIAC will carry out industrial exchanges and professional training programs in collaboration with the faculty. ▲Vice Chairman Bin YANG led the delegation to hold exchange talks with the Faculty of Journalism, Information and Book Studies of the University of Warsaw. This Polish visit organized by PEIAC aims to actively facilitate the global expansion and overseas empowerment of China’s printing industry, and build a bridge for in-depth dialogue, exchanges and cooperation between the printing industries of Europe and China. In the future, under the leadership of PEIAC, the Association will take Global Print Alliance, CHINA PRINT and PRINT CHINA as key platforms and new starting points to strengthen worldwide industrial cooperation and exchanges, and drive high-quality development of the printing industry.
