Group Members Service Committee was set up on 27 November 2001.
It is a nationwide trade organization, voluntarilly formed China’s allied trade
associations (including local printing associations), also a functional organ of
PEIAC. Its members have independent legal responsiblily, thus they can work
independently.
The mission of Group Members Service Committee is: offer service
to members and enterprises, act as a “bridge” between the government
and members, safeguard members’ rights and interests, maintain the fair
competition of the industry, unite with all members to advance printing
technologically progress and development of printing industry.
Major tasks:
1.Public and implement national strategy, policy and regulation within the
industry;
2.Enhance communication, exchange information frequently. Hold jointly
with members industrial investigations, forums and exhibitions;
3.Investigate and study the questions in common, high lights and problem
found in the course of development. Offer sugestion and make proposals
to the government depertments concerned, and write up reports, present a
comprehensive summary of the printing industry to serve as a reference for the
industry to expand and grow;
4. Collect, collate and analyze statistical data of the printing industry. release
news and information about the printing industry;
5. Organize members to attend overseas exposition, and domastic shows.
Though visits to plants to learn new technonlogy;
6. Assist government in drawing up industrial planning, setting up and
revising trade standards, and actually implementing, enforce print quality
inspection and exercise supervision;
7. Relay members’ needs and requirements, and coordinate members
relationship.
