PEIAC’s Label Printing Sub-association, approved by the Ministry of Civil
Affairs on 16 June 2008, was officially set up in Shenzhen on 3 September
2008. By 30 April 2009, units joining the sub-association amount to 130
members, they are label printers, label printing equipment and material
suppliers, accessories manufacturers and universities and research institutes of
label printing industry.
The major tasks of Label Printing Sub-association are:
To assist the government in shaping up label printing industry’s development
strategy; in making proposals and offering suggestions to government on
macro policy decision and industrial policies; to set the national standards for
label printing product and materials; and organize quality evaluation activities
for the new printing product; to held regularly international label printing
exhibition, establish a platform for enterprises and suppliers for communicate
and trade cooperation. to organize seminars and technology exchanges and
promote cooperation for enterprises in label printing industry chain. to organize
enterprises to visit overseas shows and learn from new technology; to arrange
technology and vocational training of the label printing industry according to the
needs of various enterprises requirement; to collect and collate statistical date
of label printing industry.
