Digital and Network Printing Sub-association was officially set up on 4
November 2005. It is a multi-industry, trans-departmental and nationwide social
organization, which is non-profit and free from restriction existing the system of
ownership. The sub-association is formed voluntarily by enterprises and public
institutions using digital printing technology, digital printing equipment suppliers
and entities engaging in production operations, research and development,
education and training, information service and materials business of digital
printing. It is a secondary organ under the leadership of PEIAC.
The tenet of Digital and Network Printing Sub-association is to: guide and
promote the harmonious development of China's digital printing technology
and market, serve China's digital printing industry and safeguard its members'
benefits. The major tasks of Digital and Network Printing Sub-association are as
follows:
1. Under the leadership of Printing and Printing Equipment Industries
Association of China (PEIAC), it provides service, coordination and contact
between government and members. Digital and Network Printing Subassociation
communicates the business guidelines and policies of the
government and Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of
China (PEIAC) to its members, and put such guidelines and policies into
effect; the Sub-association undertakes the tasks entrusted or assigned by the
government and/or Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of
China (PEIAC); it reports the industry's situation or goings on, makes proposals
and offer suggestions to the government departments and/or Printing and
Printing Equipment Industries Association of China (PEIAC); it safeguards the
lawful rights and interests of the industry and its members;
2. It organizes the exchange of digital printing technology at home and
abroad, promote the connection and co-operation within the same industry
around the world; promotes the popularization and application of scientific and
technological achievements. Popularize the advanced experience and scientific
research achievements in the industry and provides market, economic and
technical information for its members;
3. It assists in promoting positively the research and development of digital
printing technology, as well as technical reform of its organizational members;
4. It participates in formulating national standards and industry technical
standards of digital printing, and organizes the implementation of such
standards and exercises control thereof.
