The Seventh Beijing International Printing Technology Exhibition (China Print 2009) was held successfully during May 12-16, 2009 at the New China International Exhibition Center (NCIEC) in Beijing.  China Print 2009 is sponsored by Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China (PEIAC) and China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation (CIEC).  It is organized by China Print Show Company.

Wang Demao gave the opening speech at opening ceremony of China Print 2009.  On behalf of sponsors, he extended the warmest welcome to all distinguished guests coming from all over the world.

He said, China Print 2009 was held under the strong impact of the world economic crisis.  Some exhibitors decreased their booth space.  Statistics showed that the total booth space reduction exceeded 15,000 square meters.  Even under this critical situation, the show occupied all eight halls of NCIEC.  The total area occupied by the exhibition reached 110,000 square meters, this figure is more than that of China Print 2005 by 20%.  1284 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions exhibited their new concepts, new technologies, new products, advanced and applied equipments and materials.  The number of exhibitors was more than that of China Print 2005 by 30%. The goal of China Print 2009 was to provide best services for exhibitors and visitors.  And the slogan of the show was ¡°Growth beyond limit¡±.  The sponsors have done numerous preparation work with the supports from every aspect.  At last, he wished China Print 2009 a complete success, and hoped all distinguished guests enjoy the exhibition.

 

A series of important events took place during China Print 2009 in Beijing, including the Second International Forum for the Development of Printing Industry (Forum-PI 2009), President Meeting and Secretary-general Meeting of Global Print, Conference of EUMAPRINT, The first Member Congress of the Federation of Asia Print Exhibitions (Asia Print), the First Beijing International Summit for Label Industry and Inkjet Technology, news release conference of Print China 2011, dozens of conferences and seminars organized by exhibitors, and on-site lucky draw.

 

According to statistics offered by sponsor of China Print 2009, the number of entrance reached 162,580.  In all, China Print 2009 is giant gathering for boosting confidence in printing industry under the strong impact of the world economic crisis.
