The second chairman and secretary-general session of GLOBAL PRINT union has been held on the second day of CHINA PRINT 2009 (May 13th, 2009) at Beijing Friendship Hotel. These events include Global Print Secretary General Meeting and Global Print President Meeting.

The leaders of printing associations and printing industry insiders from the 10 member nations gather in Beijing to communicate and discuss the recent development and future prospects of printing industry.

The first chairman and secretary-general session of GLOBAL PRINT union was held on September 22, 2007 in Tokyo, and The Constitute of Global Print was passed at the session. During DRUPA 2008, the establishment ceremony of the GLOBAL PRINT union has been held on May 30th of 2008 in Dusseldorf, Germany. This union is initiated by China, Germany, USA, British, Japan, Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland and India. It aims to strengthening the communication and cooperation between leading printing machinery manufacturing nations, enhancing the globalization of printing industry and promoting the development of printing technology.
